Dear Friends and Supporters of Tabernaculo de Restauracion Renacimiento Inc.
What an incredible journey it has been for us at TDRR Church! From our humble beginnings in July 2019, answering God’s call to serve the community of Reading, PA, under the leadership of Pastor Rafael Batista and his wife Orquidea Batista, we have seen God’s faithfulness at every step.
It all started with a small group—just 4 adults, 2 youth, and 4 kids—gathering in the Batista family living room at 418 Haig Blvd, Reading PA. From there, the word spread, and more people began joining us, both online and in person. Recognizing the growing need, we moved to a rented space at 2022 N 5th St in September 2019, where we held our teaching and worship services twice a week, paying $550.00 per month.
Despite challenges like the onset of Covid-19, we never wavered in our mission. Instead, we seized the opportunity to enhance our online presence and even rented a hall at Reformation Church on Perkiomen Ave in Exeter to ensure our services continued uninterrupted.
As our faith grew, so did our congregation. By the third year, we were blessed with 70 members, all supported by God’s grace and our unwavering commitment.
Financially independent and guided by God’s hand, we continued to expand. In early 2023, we felt led to find a place of worship we could call our own. With only 25% of our congregation’s support, we embarked on the journey, trusting in God’s promises. In May 2023, we discovered a property for sale at 630 Laurel St, Reading PA—a place that had been denied to us for rent just a year prior. In a remarkable turn of events, we purchased the property in July 2023, where today, we worship God and engage with our community through various activities.
Tabernaculo de Restauracion Renacimiento Inc. has truly been guided by God’s hand through every decision and every milestone. We believe in growth and expansion because we have seen firsthand the miracles that unfold when we trust in Him.
As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our mission to serve and uplift the community of Reading, PA, spreading God’s love and message of hope. Thank you for being part of our story and journey of faith.
